Welcome to Chiaro!

By using our app, you agree to abide by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. When the terms are updated, you will be notified in the app or via email. Continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Chiaro. If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian.

2. User Conduct and Content Guidelines

To maintain a safe and enjoyable experience for all users, you agree NOT to upload, send, or share any content that:

• Contains nudity, pornography, sexually explicit material, or sexually suggestive content.
• Depicts or promotes violence, threats, harm, or illegal activities.
• Contains hate speech, discrimination, harassment, or bullying based on race, gender, sexuality, religion, disability, or any other protected status.
• Depicts or promotes self-harm, suicide, or eating disorders.
• Contains personal or private information of yourself or others, including but not limited to phone numbers, addresses, financial details, or identification documents.
• Violates copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights.
• Depicts minors in any inappropriate or exploitative manner.
• Contains spam, advertising, or any form of solicitation.
• Uses AI-generated or manipulated images.
• Attempts to manipulate or interfere with the functionality of the app in an unauthorized manner.
• Is otherwise not wholesome or likely to be perceived by the receiver as unpleasant.

We reserve the right to remove any content that we believe violates these guidelines, and to take further action, including suspending or permanently banning devices and accounts.

While we strive to create a wholesome environment, we cannot make guarantees regarding the wholesome nature of images that will be shared on Chiaro.

3. Privacy and Anonymity

Your use of Chiaro is anonymous, but you should still avoid sharing personal or identifying information in your uploaded content. While we strive to maintain anonymity, we cannot guarantee complete privacy, and you use the app at your own risk.

4. Reporting Violations

If you encounter inappropriate content, please report it immediately using the in-app reporting function or by contacting support@chiaroapp.com.

5. Liability and Disclaimers

Chiaro is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, expressed or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, error-free performance, or immunity from harmful content. Users are solely responsible for the content they share and any consequences that arise from it. We are not liable for any damages, losses, or disputes that may result from using the app.

6. Account Suspension and Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or permanently ban users who violate these Terms of Use. Severe violations may be reported to law enforcement as required by applicable laws.

7. Governing Law

These Terms of Use shall be governed by the laws of The Netherlands. By using Chiaro, you agree to submit to the jurisdiction of courts in The Netherlands for any disputes arising from these terms.
